Meet Tamara Boyd: Your Westchester and Fairfield County Real Estate Agent
A SUNY New Paltz graduate in graphic design and former owner of a successful small business, I specialize in the sale of new and existing homes in Westchester, Putnam, and Dutchess Counties. Prior to real estate, I owned and operated a fine framing and antique print retail business in Scarsdale, NY. After nearly 20 years, I decided to sell the business to follow my dream of pursuing a legal education at Pace University Law School.
Why I'm Different
Leveraging my skills and experiences as a successful business owner, I pride myself in providing all of my clients the individual attention they deserve when making the important decision of buying or selling their home. I am known for outstanding client services, high tech marketing techniques, and a skilled negotiator with my client's best interests at heart. I strongly believe that it is not only my duty to represent my clients to the best of my ability, but also to educate them throughout every step of the process by arming them with top notch information and market insight so that my clients are able to make the best decision possible.
I Believe in Giving Back
I am a firm believer in giving back to my community and am particularly passionate about servicing the needs of the elderly. As a law student, I weekly volunteered in performing legal support to low-income senior citizens facing eviction or foreclosure at Legal Services of the Hudson Valley and often donate a portion of each commission to local senior organizations or soup kitchens in the Westchester area.
In My Spare Time
I love to swim at NYSC in Somers and attend many networking events hosted through the Hudson Gateway Association of Realtors supporting the Realtor Political Action Committee which fought for STAR savings for New York State's homeowners, a two percent tax cap, lower closing costs, and limits on flood-insurance rate increases.
